-In the production of phosphoric acid industry, because all kinds of chemical media have their own characteristics, it is a difficult problem to select and use centrifugal pumps. Considering the flow rate and head, we should first analyze the chemical properties of the medium. Generally speaking, the medium properties that need to be analyzed include temperature, specific gravity, corrosiveness, solid particles, etc., and choose an economical and practical centrifugal pump.

A. pay attention to the effect of temperature on selection.

1. When the medium temperature is less than 100 ℃, the general centrifugal pump does not need to specially design the cooling system, usually uses its own medium for cooling, but also has a certain lubrication effect. For example, the chemical centrifugal pump in IH and IHF series fluorination centrifugal pumps is not equipped with an independent cooling system and is sealed by the medium itself.

2. When the 100 ℃ ≤ medium temperature is less than 300 ℃, there is usually a cooling cavity on the cover of the centrifugal pump, and the coolant enters from the mechanical seal cavity (such as double-face mechanical seal). If the medium can be used as a coolant, the medium should be cooled before it can be connected to or set up separately. The company's existing IH, IHF and other chemical centrifugal pumps, need to set up an independent cooling system, through the process water to cool the mechanical seal.

B. Pay attention to the role of specific gravity in selection.

1. The specific gravity of the material has a great influence on the performance of the centrifugal pump. when the specific gravity increases, the head and flow rate of the pump will decrease, and the power will increase, resulting in a decrease in efficiency.

C. Pay attention to the effect of particles or crystals on selection.

1. Particles are easy to aggravate the wear of over-current parts such as impellers and pump bodies, and have higher requirements for mechanical seals (in general design, by increasing the water pressure of the seal to prevent the medium from appearing in the mechanical seal, in the static ring), the over-flow parts are easy to choose wear-resistant materials. For the over-current parts with both anti-corrosion and anti-wear functions, the company currently uses CD4Mcu, silicon carbide and so on.
