Matters needing attention in the application of magnetic pump

Magnetic pump is widely used in petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, electroplating, environmental protection, water treatment, film and television development, national defense and other departments to pump flammable, explosive, toxic and precious liquids. It is an ideal pump for creating leakage-free and pollution-free civilized workshops and factories.

Operational considerations:

1. Prevent particles from entering:
(1) ferromagnetic impurities and particles are not allowed to enter the magnetic actuator and the bearing friction pair.
(2) rinse the easily crystallized or precipitated medium in time (pour fresh water into the pump cavity after stopping the pump and discharge clean after running 1min) to ensure the service life of the sliding bearing.
(3) when conveying the medium containing solid particles, it should be filtered at the entrance of the pump flow pipe.

2. Prevention of demagnetization:
(1) the magnetic torque can not be designed too small.
(2) it should be operated under the specified temperature condition, and the medium temperature exceeding the standard is strictly prohibited. A platinum resistance temperature sensor can be installed on the outer surface of the magnetic pump isolation sleeve to detect the temperature rise in the annular area so as to alarm or stop when the temperature exceeds the limit.

3. Prevent dry friction:
(1) idling is strictly prohibited.
(2) Media emptying is strictly prohibited.
(3) when the outlet valve is closed, the continuous operation time of the pump shall not exceed 2min to prevent the magnetic actuator from overheating and failure.
