The reason why dry grinding is not allowed in stainless steel magnetic pump.

 

During the use of stainless steel magnetic pump, dry grinding is the source of many failures for the following reasons:

 

1. stainless steel magnetic pump can not run without liquid, because the magnetic cylinder of stainless steel magnetic pump is cooled by medium, if dry grinding will cause the magnetic cylinder to lock up.

2. The bearings of stainless steel magnetic pump rotors are mostly made of cemented carbide and lubricated by media. You can't turn on the pump without lubrication.

3. After dry grinding, the stainless steel magnetic pump may burn through the diaphragm sleeve directly because there is no material to cool the pump.

4. The core components of stainless steel magnetic pump are external magnetic assembly and internal magnetic assembly. If dry grinding, the core components will be demagnetized at high temperature, and the performance of stainless steel magnetic pump will be greatly reduced after demagnetization.

In addition, in order to maintain the stability of the stainless steel magnetic pump, regular maintenance of the equipment is also a way to reduce the equipment failure rate, including:

The stainless steel magnetic pump shaft is provided with a filling box at the front end, the sealing function is more reliable, and a mechanical sealing device is arranged in the bearing housing, so a large number of leakage can not occur, and a small amount of leakage can be discharged and received through the leakage pipe mouth. It is normal to have a small amount of leakage at the beginning of operation, and the leakage will be reduced or stopped after running through the sealing surface for a certain period of time.

6. There are two ball bearings in the bearing housing. One ball bearing on the impeller side of the stainless steel magnetic pump is lubricated with heat conduction oil, and one on the coupling side is lubricated with high temperature grease: each ball bearing must be removed and cleaned with diesel oil after 3000 hours of operation. Check whether the contact surface is damaged or not. If there is damage, a new bearing must be replaced. When the ball bearing on the side of the impeller is installed, the side with the dustproof cover should be installed toward the impeller and be lubricated with heat conduction oil before starting.

7. The stainless steel magnetic pump should not operate continuously under 30% of the design flow. If it is necessary to operate under this premise, a bypass pipe should be installed at the outlet and the flow rate should reach above the smaller value mentioned above.

8. Often check the loose ground condition of anchor bolts, whether the pump shell temperature of stainless steel magnetic pump is consistent with the inlet temperature, the fluctuation of outlet pressure gauge and the vibration of pump.

9. Pay attention to whether there is any noise in the operation of the stainless steel magnetic pump. If you find the normal state, you should deal with it in time.
