The cause of Vibration of Acid-resistant pump

Acid-alkali pump is suitable for long-term transportation of all kinds of corrosive media, such as strong acid, alkali, salt and strong oxidant of any concentration. It has been widely used because of its corrosion resistance, wear resistance, high temperature resistance, non-oxidation and so on. However, many people find that it often experiences violent vibration in the process of use. Generally speaking, the slight vibration of the acid and alkali resistant pump is normal, but beyond a certain range indicates that the centrifugal pump is not operating correctly. We need to stop and remove the water immediately to start maintenance.

The reason for the vibration of acid and alkali resistant pump:

1. There is a deviation in the concentricity of the acid and alkali resistant pump impeller. The displacement of the impeller, or the inability of the impeller to carry out stable centrifugal motion due to non-concentric defects, will cause both sides to swing and cause the pump head to resonate.

2. Acid and alkali resistant pump shaft is bent. There are many cases of pump shaft bending due to improper operation, among which pump shaft bending is also one of the reasons for the increase of pump vibration.

3. The installation of acid and alkali resistant pump is loose. The long-term operation of acid-alkali-resistant pump will lead to loosening and displacement of fixed parts such as foundation screws, and common sloshing and vibration at high speed.

4. Resonance is caused by the vibration of acid and alkali resistant pump pipe. The installation of the pipe is unstable, and the vibration of the pump may be caused by the sloshing of the pipe in the process of liquid transportation.

5. The coupling is not calibrated or damaged. When installing the acid and alkali resistant pump, it is necessary to use the percentile meter to calibrate the liquid level between the pump and the base, as well as the concentricity with the motor. If the deviation is too large, the connection between the motor and the pump head may not be smooth, which will also cause the whole pump group to vibrate.
