On the problem of Motor overload of Chemical pump

Cause of overload of pump motor:

1. Pump shaft and motor shaft are not concentric.

2. The rotating body does not rotate, the packing is too tight, and the clearance of sliding bearing is too small.

3. Pump shaft bending.

4. The bearing is seriously damaged.

5. Speed is too high.

6. The liquid viscosity is higher than the specified value.

7. The density of the liquid is higher than the specified value or has crystals.

8. The gap between the impeller and the pump housing is too small to cause friction.

Treatment method:

1. Readjust the concentricity of the pump and motor shaft.

2. Adjust the packing sealing degree and increase the clearance of sliding bearing.

3. Straighten the bending of the shaft.

4. Replace the bearing.

5. Adjust the speed of the motor or replace the motor to meet the factory standard on the nameplate.

6. The viscosity of the diluent should meet the requirements of process transportation.

7. Add diluent to reduce density and heat to eliminate crystallization.

8. Adjust the clearance between the impeller and the housing to eliminate friction.
