Application and structural characteristics of submerged pump Mar 16, 2023

FYH vertical submersible pump is a kind of new product which introduces foreign advanced technology, digests and absorbs, develops and develops. What are the classified uses and structural characteristics of the submerged pump?

 

A-Classification and use of submerged pumps.

1. Tight-set submerged pump.

The tight submerged pump is usually used in the low-pressure straight-through pipeline, and the sealing performance depends entirely on the coincidence between the plug and the plug body, and the compression of the sealing surface is realized by tightening the lower part of the nut. Generally used for PN ≤ 0.6 Mpa.

2. Filling submerged pump.

The packing submerged pump realizes the sealing of the plug and the plug body by pressing the packing. Because of the packing, the sealing performance is better. Usually this kind of submerged pump has a packing gland, and the plug does not have to protrude the valve body, thus reducing the leakage path of a working medium. This kind of submerged pump is widely used for PN ≤ 1 Mpa pressure.

3. Self-sealing submerged pump.

The self-sealing submerged pump realizes the compression seal between the plug and the plug body through the pressure of the medium itself. The small head of the plug protrudes upward, and the medium enters the big end of the plug through the small hole at the entrance and presses the plug upward. This structure is generally used for air medium.

4. Oil-sealed submerged pump.

There is an oil-sealed submerged pump with forced lubrication. Due to forced lubrication, an oil film is formed between the plug and the sealing surface of the plug body. In this way, the sealing performance is better, opening and closing saves effort, and prevents the sealing surface from being damaged.

B-Structural characteristics of submerged pump.

1. The pump is a vertical submerged pump with beautiful appearance, which is directly installed on the storage of the transported medium without additional occupied area, thus reducing the capital construction investment.

2. The mechanical seal is cancelled, which solves the trouble that other submerged pumps need frequent maintenance because the mechanical seal is easy to wear, saves the operation cost of the pump and improves the work efficiency.

3. A unique centrifugal double balance impeller is adopted for conveying clean media such as solid particles, with low vibration noise and high efficiency; open double balance impellers are used for conveying unclean liquid with solid particles and short fibers, running smoothly and without blockage.

4. The new submerged pump can transport flammable, explosive and other light materials, which has almost no wear and low energy consumption because of the improvement in design.

5. Its internal structure is made of special material, and there is a gap between the stator and the rotor, which is about the thickness of a piece of A4 paper. The material flows through the middle, which plays two roles: one is to cool the motor, so as to ensure the life of the motor. Second, the liquid flows through the gap between the stator and the rotor, which plays a good role in lubricating the bearing. The problems of temperature rise of motor and wear of bearings have been solved effectively.
