The reason why the stainless steel self-priming pump can not produce liquid?

Stainless steel self-priming pump

Stainless steel self-priming pump has a wide range of uses, and there are more points for attention when using it, but many new users have never used stainless steel self-priming pump before, so they are interested in self-priming.
I don't know much about the pump, so I don't know how to deal with the failure of the stainless steel self-priming pump. Today, I would like to talk about the problem that the stainless steel self-priming pump does not produce liquid. The more common reasons are as follows:

1.The first use of stainless steel self-priming pump does not draw water, this is a very common problem, many people think that since it is a self-priming pump, it should be automatically sucked up without the need for water diversion.

This idea is wrong, self-priming pump is to pump liquid, can not vacuum, so for the first time there is no liquid storage in the pump body, be sure to pump. On the other hand, if the stainless steel self-priming pump is used for the first time and the self-priming pump is opened without filling the pump, there will be no liquid out of the pump, and long-term operation will also cause the pump to dry wear due to idling and burn out parts such as machine seals and impellers.

2.The steering of the stainless steel self-priming pump is wrong, which is also quite common, but this is also very easy to identify and solve. Install a pressure gauge at the outlet of the pipe. If the pressure gauge shows no pressure after the pump is opened, then it is very likely that the pump has turned wrong and the steering of the pump can be changed.

3. The rotational speed of the stainless steel self-priming pump is not enough, and the rotational speed is too low. If the liquid concentration of the pump reaches a certain degree, the pump will not produce liquid. In order to adjust the rotational speed of the pump, only when it reaches a certain rotational speed, the self-priming pump can produce liquid normally.

4. The suction distance of the self-priming pump is too high, which is also quite common, and it is a factor that many people do not take into account when choosing the pump. The general self-priming pump only has a suction distance of 3-6 meters, and the suction distance is also different according to the type of the pump. So consider the suction distance of the pump when buying the pump. In addition, the suction distance of the pump should also be accurate in calculation.

5. Another reason why the stainless steel self-priming pump can not produce liquid is that there is air leakage at the inlet and outlet, and the self-priming pump cannot absorb water normally, so there will be no liquid coming out.
