2.The oil seal of oil seal pump is a kind of self-tightening lip seal with simple structure, small volume, low cost, convenient maintenance and low torque resistance. It can not only prevent medium leakage, but also prevent the invasion of external dust and other harmful substances. In addition, it has a certain ability to compensate for wear, but it is not resistant to high pressure, so it is generally used in chemical pumps under low pressure.

3.The chemical pump relies on the principle of centrifugation to extract liquid materials. Chemical pumps made of special materials are suitable for extracting corrosive liquids from bottles, buckets, cans, pools or other containers. Due to the danger of corrosion, volatilization and explosion of the medium extracted by the chemical pump, the requirement for the sealing performance of the pump body is much higher than that of other types of pumps. The chemical pump oil seal should be installed on the surface hardened shaft with a manufacturing precision of h8~h9 and a surface roughness of 1.6 ~ 0.8 μ M. The sealing medium must not contain solid particles and impurities, otherwise it will lead to rapid wear of the oil seal and shaft, resulting in seal failure. When choosing this sealing method, the performance and requirements of chemical pump conveying materials should be fully considered to avoid unnecessary leakage and prevent accidents.

4.Poor sealing of oil seal is the main factor leading to oil leakage. When the shaft is worn and grooves are formed, even if a new oil seal is replaced, it still cannot be sealed because the contact pressure between the seal lip and the shaft is reduced, resulting in a small interference between the seal lip diameter and the shaft diameter after installation.
