Analysis and troubleshooting of stainless steel magnetic pump:

 

The key components of stainless steel magnetic pump are composed of external magnetic rotor, internal magnetic rotor and non-magnetic isolation sleeve. When the motor drives the external magnetic rotor to rotate, the magnetic field can penetrate the air gap and non-magnetic material, drive the internal magnetic rotor connected to the impeller to rotate synchronously, realize the contactless transmission of power, and transform the dynamic seal into static seal. Because the pump shaft and the internal magnetic rotor are closed by the pump body and the isolation sleeve, the leakage problem is solved, and the hidden danger of flammable, explosive, toxic and harmful medium leakage through the pump seal in the oil refining and chemical industry is eliminated.

 

Malfunction analysis:

 

1. Problems caused by cavitation of magnetic pump: the main causes of cavitation are large resistance of pump inlet pipe, more gas phase of conveying medium, insufficient filling pump, insufficient energy head of pump inlet and so on. Cavitation is the most harmful to the pump. When cavitation occurs, the pump vibrates violently and the balance is seriously damaged, which will lead to damage to the bearing, rotor or impeller of the pump. This is a common cause of magnetic pump failure.

 

2. No medium or small flow rate of conveying medium: dry friction between the rotor spindle and the stable bearing, burning the bearing. The magnetic pump provides lubrication and cooling to the sliding bearing by the conveying medium. in the case of no opening inlet valve or outlet valve, the sliding bearing is damaged by high temperature due to no lubrication and cooling of the conveying medium.

 

 

3. Damage to the isolation sleeve: the magnetic coupling of the magnetic pump is cooled by the medium conveyed by the pump. if there are hard particles in the medium, it is easy to scratch or scratch the isolation sleeve, and sometimes it may cause damage to the isolation sleeve if the maintenance method is improper.
